Design Balance is a boutique architectural firm that specializes in multifamily, active adult, build-to-rent and mixed-use residential design. ALTA FIREWHEEL

 

Alta Firewheel is a multifamily development located near a major mixed-use commercial center in Garland, Texas just northeast of Dallas.  The community's 250 units are spread out among five (5) three and four story tuck-under buildings, and the amenities are located within the largest building. The project overcame the challenges presented by the drastic topography of the site by locating the buildings in a way that created interest and hierarchy of space (including an at-grade pool that gets to still overlook the property).
