JOHN WOMBLE, AIA NCARB
John Womble founded Design Balance, Inc. in 2019. He is a registered architect with over twenty-five years of professional and volunteer leadership experience. His focus for the past fifteen years has been in the multifamily sector, but his portfolio also includes mixed-use, education, corporate, religious, commercial, municipal, and high-end residential project types. John has served as Chairman of Rockwall’s Architectural Review Board, and is currently the Vice Chairman of Rockwall’s Planning & Zoning Commission. He graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. John is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is licensed to practice Architecture in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, & Utah.
TYLER CINI, AIA NCARB
Tyler Cini joined Design Balance in 2023 with a penchant for collaboration and developing culture. For more than the last decade he has primarily concentrated on multifamily residential projects, gathering significant expertise and leading a studio in that product type. Over a 15+ year career he’s also worked on mixed-use, corporate, restaurant, retail and other commercial projects. Tyler graduated with Distinction from the University of Kansas with a Master of Architecture. He has volunteered with NCARB for several years writing items for and coordinating item development for the Architect Registration Exam, and is currently part of a team looking at the future of the NCARB Certificate. Tyler is a 2018 graduate of the AIA Dallas Emerging Leaders Program, is a 2025 graduate of the NCARB Leadership Institute, and is a registered Architect licensed in Texas, Arizona, Georgia & Florida.
ASSOCIATE PRINCIPALS & DIRECTORS
JASON HOYT, AIA
Jason Hoyt joined Design Balance in 2026, bringing over 13 years of architectural experience with a passion for thoughtful design, technical excellence, and building strong relationships with clients and project teams. Throughout his career, he has contributed to projects of many types but primarily focused on multifamily residential projects and has led complex developments of varying scale. His experience includes navigating all phases of project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing innovative solutions that balance design intent, functionality, constructability, and client goals. Jason earned a Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University, is a Licensed Architect in Texas, and an active member of AIA. Jason combines technical expertise with practical problem-solving to help deliver successful projects and lasting value for the communities they serve.
GINGER WOMBLE
Ginger Womble joined Design Balance in 2020. She spent over eight years at McKinsey & Company in client development for the Marketing and Sales sector with a focus on pricing and promotions. After McKinsey she was on the ground floor of a tech start-up in the real estate industry. Ginger has her bachelor's degree in political science, an MBA from Southern Methodist University and is a licensed Realtor. She serves on the board at Rush Creek Yacht Club as the M15 fleet rep where her family sails. In the past, she has served as Chairman of the Rockwall Art in Public Spaces Committee as well as serving on the advisory council for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas. Most importantly she is a mom of two boys and enjoys facilitating their passions in sailing, music, lacrosse and RC racing.
